Goats will eat almost anything which can make them very useful when controlling dense thickets, noxious weeds, ect. They can also bring a lot of liability in more arid areas. The correct group of animals when coupled with a symbiotic micro climate will enhance soil productivity, bio diversity, and the health and happiness of the animals on the land.
